Mossley CRT is an accredited GoRide club. This means that we are a part of British Cycling's development programme, aimed at helping youngsters to be integrated into the sport. To attain this we had to meet strict criteria and our activities are monitored. Government minister James Purnell and club president Ben Swift, were both at the official ceremony for the recognition of MossleyCRT as a GoRide club. Mossley CRT is also affiliated to all the major cycling bodies, including British Cycling, British Schools Cycling Association and Cycling Time Trials. We organise a wide variety of cycling activities (depending on season) throughout the year for all abilities. Parents are actively encouraged to become involved in all aspects of the club's activities. These range from social events such as slide shows and films, 'Come and Try It' sessions for the beginner's, club runs for various abilities, track training at the Manchester velodrome, road racing, circuit racing and time trials. Club tours at home and abroad are also organised. A full calendar of events is available through the website and/or the Mossley CRT members' online newsgroup. All Mossley CRT's club activities are supervised by qualified cycling coaches and leaders.
